I wasn&#039;t finding anytihng satisfying about the work I was doing for someone else. I always felt stifled - I always had to run my ideas by someone else and get buy-in before I ran with anything. Also, I was so tired of asking permission to take a day off... especially when I wanted the time off to spend with my daughter.

I love the flexible schedule I enjoy and the freedom!

I&#039;m not shocked about the statistics you shared. I teach workshops each quarter and 90% of my attendees are women who are starting their own business.

One thing I find interesting is that women lag behind men in business growth. For right now, I want to stay a one-woman show. I like working on my own, and I like supporting other women-owned businesses by purchasing services and products from them. I don&#039;t want the responsibility of having employees at this point.
