Women, Change Your Body Language, Change Your Message
Do you want to improve the first impression you make? Do you want people to consider you as capable as a man working in the same field? As a woman, you have to pay more attention to the impression you’re making because you have to overcome the initial stereotype that pops up in the other person’s mind when then think, “Oh, it’s a woman.”

Powerful Body Language For Working Women [7:04m]:
There are two types of relationships you should keep in mind. There are those that will benefit you in the long term, especially if you decide to change companies or directions. Whenever you’re at the negotiation table, it’s important to appear strong. If you don’t, people will jump at the chance to undermine your credibility and even your right to have a position in the discussion. Part of looking strong is the proper use of body language.

Thanks to Nancy Clark for clear , workable strategies to appear confident and strong in a group by using and avoiding body languages that advance or detract. I will be more aware of nodding and smiling excessively. At an upcoming conference for professional speakers and trainers, I will implement your ideas when going up to new groups. Like many speakers my confidence is much greater when speaking from the platform than one on to one. especially in large busy rooms networking.
I like your calm, logical way of sharing tips.
Thanks again.
Positively,
Pauline
